Celebrating the unique creativity of all individuals.

Dick Evans has taught cartooning to children and adults for more than thirty years. His simple, straightforward and unpretentious approach to art brings out the creativity in all of his students - even the shy ones!

Cartooning is easy.
And, best of all, you can't do it wrong!

That is Dick's philosophy and the basic premise of his teaching style. "Too many children and adults feel threatened by the possibility of drawing something incorrectly," he said. "Thus, they are often unwilling to try. Life has programmed them to view different as wrong. In my classes, self-expression is encouraged and celebrated. Each of us sees and experiences life in our own way. This is good!"

Individual perspective is praised, not criticized.

Have you ever wanted to capture a funny situation on paper, but were stumped by the thought of drawing? You can see it in your mind; but freeze when you pick up a pencil. Dick Evans developed and taught Cartoon FUNdamentals, an easy-to-follow drawing program that shows you how to cartoon, one step at a time.

Your art is a personal expression of how you view the world.

Learn to create your own cartoons. Order copies of Dick's FUNdamentals books today and contact him to arrange for private or group instruction.

"If you are seeking a way to encourage and motivate students and adults alike to expand their drawing skills, I highly recommend Dick Evans. . . . His main message is 'do not be afraid to try something new.' You will enjoy having Dick Evans demonstrate his cartooning at your school or organization."

"Our teachers were very excited to see that the children wanted to extend the [drawing] activity over into the classrooms. They had truly enjoyed the presentation and each child felt that they could draw!"
